Sphene, also known as titanite, has rich body colors, strong trichroism, and a fire that exceeds diamond. Although softer than many more popular gems, sphenes can make wonderful jewelry stones if set and maintained properly. (Mohs 5-5.5)

Sphene comes in many brown/copper/yellow tones but its most desirable color is green. Usually, the green Sphenes are rather muddy in appearance but a deposit in Zimbabwe a couple of years ago produced the most amazing green material.

This pear shape is from that deposit in Zimbabwe.
All purchased gemstones will be shipped the day after the Round Table for overnight delivery via Federal Express, so your gemstone will arrive on Monday or Tuesday 17th or 18th August.

YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE TO SIGN FOR THIS SHIPMENT

You will have five days from the day you receive the shipment to examine the gemstone and if you decide not to keep it, return it to T Lee.

If the gemstone is not shipped back by August 22nd or 23rd, using the label provided, the sale will be final.
